I'm having problems trying to get Star Wars Shadow Of The Empire to work on my project 64.

It half loads the intro but when it reaches the famous STAR WARS floating into space the graphics are corrupt and then it says the plugin has failed and locks up.

I have all the versions of the game and I've tried different plugins (Glide64) is my preffered one though and it says it's compatable but it keeps happening.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Star Wars is just One of those games that's a PITA
From what I understand getting it to fully emulate 100% is like finding the cure for cancer lol:evil:

Do you have the latest Glide64 as well as the latest RDB? Yes, many Star Wars games on the N64 are a pain in the ass to get working perfectly, although there are some exceptions (like Episode I Racer).

It may be your rom that it causing the problem. I have Star Wars - Shadows of the Empire (U) (v1.2) with Mudlord's Rice Video Build 6.1.3 plugin. The game has glitches but it is still quite playable! =]

No no, new people always think it's their ROM that is messed up but that is practically never the case.

If it was the ROM that was the problem, PJ64 would say "In a loop that cannot be exited" or "Unknown Opcode", or rarely it would go past that.

99% of the case it's either the person's graphics plugin that does not work right with the game, or the person's graphics card/chip (or its drivers) that doesn't work right with the plugin.
