Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (not the flicker problem)

Now that the flicker problem for SW:SOTE is fixed I have started to play this game again. I have noticed that in the Gall Space Port level the distance turns to black. As you get closer it becomes visable. This isn't a huge problem since I can turn on the seeker camera and fire one off to see where I need to go, but I was just wondering if this is an issue with my specs or with the emulator. If it's a problem with the vid plugin, is there anything I can do to eliminate this? It may have something to do with the in-game fog effects. I'm at work right now, but when I get home I'll post a screen shot of what I'm talking about. Thanx for any help.

as i posted a long time ago

Use rice 5.6.0 for a video plugin. Set Current Game Options to
frame update at [at ci change]N64 frame buffer at [basic framebuffer]
and [basic render-to-texture] for rendering to texture.
