Star Trek Nemesis

gokuss4

Meh...
Damn this movie was hella good. Good action, good suspense, and comedy as well. Of course with all that sci-fi action, what more could a movie lover ask for? ;) This is one of my favorite movies. I rate the movie 9/10 :). I am a Star Trek fan to, so that could effect the rating a little bit :p. Any of you sci-fi fans, or hell even non sci-fi fans, go see the movie ;).

I like to watch star-trek myself, though I keep hearing that nemesis is no good. I thought generations was ok, could have been better, but overall was good. First contact was realy good. I hated insurection though, that one was probably the worst ever.

I didnt like Insurrection but Ive heard Nemesis is the best. Even Patrick Stewart said Insurrection was the worst and Nemesis is the best. He rated First Contact as second and Generations as third.

Well, I love Star Trek and I will go see this movie. But, I'm also kinda glad it may finally be dying off. Although I appreciate "The Next Generation" gang as having put up a worthwhile sequel series, the other ST series ... DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise ... all seriously piss me off.

The Star Trek I like to watch was originally aired from 1966 to 1969.

Dying off, haha, no actually they have had higher ratings with Voyager and Enterprise than any other. Voyager was something out of the ordinary I guess, but I can tell you for sure, they like Enterprise because of the more human side of it all. Enterprise really is closer to TOS that the others, the crew is more relaxed (except for Malcom) and the Federation doesnt exist yet so there is no prime directive. Therefore they have to discover things as they come, the crew of Starfleet isnt quite so prim and proper as they are in the 24th century after the creation of the Federation. People seem to like this and it is drawing in new fans who never watched the previous 4 series and then they get hooked on the older series after watching the new ones. So, really Star Trek is becoming more popular, not dying off. Star Trek is the longest running fiction television series (or series of series) in existence and it shows no signs of giving in to the runner up (WWE).

I like Sci Fi, I've liked some of the stuff they've done in StarTrek over the years although the bad as outweighed the good lately

Voyager was just stupid, Picture this, you're light years away from home, you're low on fuel, food and weapons, you have no backup in case the shit hits the fan (which it does every episode), so you pick up a stray robot floating in space, revive it then let it go back to it's war and try to use you to assist it, now maybe I'm just sensible, but why the fuck would you pick up that robot in the first place? maybe Janeway needed some company to assist her robotic acting, there were two decent characters, 7of9 and The Doctor, both were more human then any of the other characters

I haven't watched Enterprise I don't care anymore for startrek

I liked voyager but I hated janeway. They took the most important role of any startrek series and made it realy suck, which IMO was the most dammaging part of the series. They should have made 7 of 9 play the role of the captain if they wanted a female captain so much, then have janeway be the former borg, shes more busty so it would have worked better.

no

there was that one episode long before 7of9 where they found some robot floating in space, and the "permanently angry thus I am a klingon" woman fixed it

Ah, I see. I remember that one now. So..... your basing the entertainment value of the series on one poorly written episode. Man, I feel sorry for you if you see one part of something you dont like and judge it right then and there.

What are you talking about exactly? Most important role? That would be exploration which they did. As for you next comment, that just sounds sexist.

First off, when they found Kate Mulgrew, they re-wrote the pilot episode from a male captain to a female captain. If they hadnt found her Voyager probably would have had a male captain. Second, more busty? If that means what I think it means, large breasts dont make good female actors and Jeri Ryan believe it or not was not cast as 7 of 9 for her looks, it was for her unique ability to remain emotionless. (The same reason they cast Jolene Blalock, Tim Russ, and Brent Spiner)

None of your points seem like valid exuses. I can understand if you dont like the show but if your going to say why then at least make it a good reason.

Mulgrew was not their first female choice, I forget who it was but I think she quit because the schedule was so demanding
