SSBM Sound

I've searched about this, but nothing to point me in the right direction. Theres no sound from my SSBM.
It seems SSBM can be played with full sound, so I think its a problem on my end. Any reason why it might not be working?

EDIT:
I fidgeted around with the plugins and configure settings, and I got sound to work, and music but it stops prematurely, any fixes?

there are fixes yes. download the source and figure out were the problem is and fix
