Right, first things first... spex.
Ive got a
1.6ghz AMD Athlon XP
128mb of DDR Memory
Sparkle GeForce2 MX 400 64mb
Windows XP Pro
Sound Blaster Live! 5.1
I just downloaded the Azi audio plugin, and I have been messing around with my settings to try and tweak something to best effect, but to no avail...!
Games like Mario, WaveRace, and even Zelda run Nicely.... but PerfectDark and Goldeneye are the only two I have which run terribly.
I think I must have taken syn audio off just now or sumthing, and the frame rate limiter, bcos as times on goldeneye it was going at like 90+ fps...and then it ran like a snail... :S
I also decided to play around with swap space seeing as I dont have the required memory. I ended up giving my pc a 2.5gig partition of one of my larger drives for swap, and that seems to have helped a LITTLE...
Any ideas as to how to improve it any better would be helpful...
