soul calibur 2 help please

hallo, when i run this game , in the part "press start", dolphin says, "video plugin error" ¿what can i do?,i really want to play this great game. please help.

(sorry for my english, i write better in spanish).

try using the new video plugin in the FAQs, and also keep in mind that the dolphin will be slow, and you wont really be able to "play" the games. Currently there is no emulator that can.

i really don't understand that of the video plug in in the FAQ, ¿can you expolain that please?.

my pc hardware are:


pentium 4 3 ghz.
1024 mb ram.
ati radeon 9550 agp 8x. of 256 mb

thanx but i already tried that, and i have 1.0.3.2 beta, and the problem still are there, i can't play the game, maybe is the configuration, but i always change the configuration to try and nothing happens.If one of you have this game and you can run it, please give me the configuration or something.

dolphin says, "video plugin error" unknow opcode (something).

I have the same issue.
I get this error in the beginning after the Sofdec / ADX screen:
Error: Unknown Opcode (0x1)

The settings are standard. Can this be solved?

Unknown OpCode usually means that the emulator fails to emulate the game correctly, resulting in the game not running at all, or alternatively, the disc image is corrupt.

aham... they should remove soul calibur 2 from the compatibility list, it's obviously not supported and it's wasting peoples time

If the compatibility list has an entry and your disc image matches the game code on the same page, then someone has gotten the game to work, at least partially.
