I have the selfbooting Echelon version of the game, but somehow it keeps sending me back to the clock screen.

It does this everytime I boot Chankast, what do I do to set the time permanently? or how do I get around it to play a game?

Looks like your bios file are getting corrupt. Copy fresh bios files back to your chankast directory. Run Chankast and set all settings. Close chankast and set your bios files to read-only flag. Only fix that I know of. Maybe setting bios files to read-only immediately works too.
