So how well are the games running on your rig?

like i keep hearing that the emu doesnt push much on the video card now but i would bet it will get faster once some work is offset to the GPU. But untill then let the compatibility and polishing continue :)

For now the only game i try was Zelda Four Swords and it run at 5-16 (mostly less than 10), and ingame at 2 and a half frames.

Actually if you want a game that works best you'd have to pick something like bust a move. Because it displays everything correctly, save feature works and it runs fast enough (although too fast on a good system).

0,06 FPS for RE4-Trial on AMD Athlon XP 2400+ (2,0gHz), 1048mb ddram and Geforce 6600GT.
The screen is just black which makes me prefer to play the full version of re4 on my GC with a handy controller, though ,ripping the textures d' be nice

Nevertheless dolphin will improve in speed. The only explanation for the dolphin getting slower is becouse the moderators have very fast computers so for them 60fps is a constant. But there will come a time when they will move to a friend in a vacation which has a normal computer and will see that they have'nt progressed as much as they thought.

Dolphin is getting slower as it is getting more compatible, which is happens will all emulators, and is happening right now with Dolphin and PCSX2.

There is no guarantee that Dolphin's speed will increase with PC's current architecture and bottlenecks therein.

No PC available can achieve 60fps in a 3D game, or even close, so it is slow for everybody inc. the developers.

but my comp achives 60fps emulating n64. 60 fps is a constant on my comp on PJ64 and way higher on 1964(when i say way i mean WAY)

In case you didn't notice, this thread is about Dophin, a GameCube emulator. The N64's 3D capabilities pale in comparision. That being said, no one can achieve 60 fps in a fully 3D GameCube game, on any GC emulator.

But you implied Dolphin not N64 in your post:

The only explanation for the dolphin getting slower is becouse the moderators have very fast computers so for them 60fps is a constant.

The speed of N64 emulators has no baring at all on the speed of other LLE emulators. N64 uses HLE to drastically improve performance at a massive cost to accuracy (several bugs in each game on average). I myself achive above 400 fps in N64 emulators with high 4xSAA/16xAF, and 1-4fps in Luigi's Mansion. Just because you can get 60fps in another emulator does not mean 60fps in every emulator. They all have very different requirements.

The game which works best is Buffy the Vampire Slayer:Chaos Bleeds ,look here for screenshots.

Actually, the best working game on Dolphin is BAM3K.

@Blacklord: Edit your post instead of triple posting ;)

Triple posting is against the rules, so GCFreak was right. I suggest you save a Dolphin mod the trouble of mods fixing your posts by taking the time to edit the first one with the info from the others.
