Smash Bros = no sound

Ok i just downloaded Smash Bros (E) and noticed there was no sound. I dont think this is a plug-in issue cause I have tried various different plug ins and none seem to work. could it be an INI prpblem does anyone else experience the same problem?

The Euro version has issues with my audio... (re. PJ64 audio is all out of sync)... so even if it did work, it wouldn't work well. I suggest using the USA version.
