Sin and Punishment Help

For some reason, the screen goes momentarily black during some moments. This isn't a problem as such in the main levels, but I can't get past the second boss because it happens continuously as you fight it. Anybody experienced this too?

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon X350 128mb
Memory: 1GB
Plugin: Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6

I really don't understand, as games like Perfect Dark and CBFD all work fine, in fact, tons better than the original...

Unemulated motion blur. Only works with Voodoo 4/5 + Glide64.
