Sims2 n00b Question

Could I use some of the ISO files to make up Sims charachters ? It is quite an obsession nowadays!

How would I go about it ? I imagine I have to get an ISO file "dumper" to save it to Sims format...

I'm sorry what ? you're going to have to explain this a little better because I don't understand what you're trying to do.

Well I was hoping to be able to make a sims2 character with the info from my FFX game disc

To make a sims2 character you set texture, bone... so it does seem (in theory) possible. It also seems legal: I own both games and I'm not actually copying FFX's entire game or such, but just the "likeness" of some of it's main characters, to use them in my sims2 neighborhood.

As you can see in the link above, the low tech attempts to fiddle with the Sims2 character design utility did get somewhat passable results. I wonder if that could be improved by getting the 3d modeling info available in my game disc.

I don´t know about the likeness of the characters but the tools to extract the models are very likely to be copyrighted, i guess that most times what we see in modded characters on games is artistic work from the modders, not ripping.
