Security app

?????????????????????????
Umm, I'm looking for a good software that can actually do what xp's limited account does...mainly because xp limits limited account to installing software. But I want some (other users( to be able to do this. Install games and stuff.

Yet, I don't want them to be able to change the computer settings....hm, i think you understand what i mean.
The question is, is there an application that can limit these feautres and make sure it doesn't affect all users (like the policy editor in xp :getlost:).
Another nice thing would be to block them from installing into folders. Like settings permissions. I can't get the security tab to show...i'm not ntfs, but i can't set permissions...

Can someone help? :)

2) You're absolutely right. Unless using some application which keeps this. One example was Z-Protect, but it only works under Win9x.

But then, on the drives i wish to restrict access, i use ntfs :) but i can't get the security tab visible so i acn set permissions!

Create a new user group in XP, add / remove the permissions / restrictions you want and place the user you want in that usergroup... :D And setting folder permissions in XP with FAT32 is a no show, it can only be done with NTFS...

Oh, yeah, it is kinda hidden... I think you have to turn off Simple File Sharing or something really weird like that.

Thank God KDE doesn't try to decide what's too advanced for me.

I'm using ntfs :)
And i can't add usergroups; already tried. It says the service workstation isn't running...dunno if you need a server or something...
