Saving Realmedia streams

Does anyone know how i can save a Realmedia stream after its done playing the whole way through? if not, do you know how to just have it play the audio and not download the video at all?

Damn, you use realmedia? Wow, I figured people quit using their proprietary formats these days.

Depends on what the content provider wants though, if they don't want you to store their content localy, then they can tell the player likewise, and it wont allow you to do it. I would just remove any realmedia software if I were you (its spyware, even if you buy the commercial version), but thats just me.

Well, its needed for a certain project im working on. But i want to know if its possible to do any of those options?

The whole point of real media is to prevent people from downloading them to a re-usable file. The only way I know how is to uninstall RealPlayer then download it.

EDIT: Or just delete the associations for it.

well, i tryed something like that. I have DAP, and i right clicked the link at clicked download with DAP, then it downloaded a 4 KB file. Just a link to the stream.
