Saitek P2600 Gamepad Trouble

I'm having problems configuring (mapping) my controller using "Jabo's DirectInput".
When I click on the "blank square" to try and map the "A" button it automatically selects "Joypad:11" even though I have not pressed anything.

Then when I try and map the "B" button I get a message saying "Sorry, the input selection is already in use". So it seems like it wants to map everything to "joypad:11" even when i havn't pressed a single button.

I don't think it is an issue with the plugin because I have also tried to map my controller using N-Rage's and Darkman's input plugins.

I also have an SNES emulator (ZSNES) and my controller works properly with this emulator.

Any help would be much appreciated...

I was able to find a solution to my problem. I went into device manager and uninstalled the drivers for my gamepad (saitek drivers) I then plugged it back in and used the built in xp drivers which work nicely with PJ64.
