SA2 freezes in 1º level!Help please! :(

I have the Echelon release of SonicAdventure2, and I use daemon tools to mount it.

I try to run it in Chankast 2.5a(lastest version),and the game runs perfect, but in 1º level, at 30 seconds or 1 minute, the image completly freeze but the sound run well. I formatted and reinstalled WindowsXp, but the problem continues.

I dont know if is a problem with emulator or with the game image...help, please! :bye3:


My computer is: AMD-64 3400+ 768DDR400 and 9800pro with lastest OmegaDrivers...

Its either that its the Echelon release, or Chanka isnt compatible with SA2, check the compatibility list.

You need patch(E-son2fx.ppf)to remove the echelon intro.When you download the patch you will need a program(APPLYPPF.EXE).When you heve it in command promport go to the folder where is the patch,image of the game and ppf file.And then type"APPLYPPF.EXE"And when you open the program type"applyppf e-sonic2.cdi E-son2fx.ppf"Then the game will work ok.But you must keep the original image of the game becouse you will can't go throuch the last stage with dark story(Final Chase).
