Hi, I've searched the www all week, but still haven't found the solution to my problem. Ok, here's the summary: I have Dolphin (both v.1.03, and v1.02, and i've tried both) and SSBM, along with 3DRipperDX. I start 3DRipper, choose the emulator, set the optional wavefront .obj extractor on, and click launch.
The emulator starts up fine (after having disabled shaders, which caused a crash every time), and I choose the proper file for it to open. The game starts, and the yellow text in the corner appears. Good so far? I thought so.
So, I allow the intro movie to play, and when it reaches a scene I want to rip, hit F7 (the key I have 3DRipper's rip function assigned to). It flashes some red text beside the "ready to capture" in the corner (too fast to read), then the .obj .mtl and .3DR files appear in the Frames folder 3DRipper sends them to. There are also files added to the Textures and Shaders folders.
However, when I attempt to import the .obj files into an animation program, such as Blender or Milkshape, all that loads is a flat panel, with seemingly nothing on it. Where did I go wrong? I'm sure I'm probably making some stupid mistake, but I can't figure it out. I have read repeatedly how Dolphin is the only emulator with which 3DRipper will work, but I have seen no discussions about solving this problem.
All help will be very appreciated, thanks!!
