Regular controller?

Is it possible to use a regular computer game controller, like a AxisPad or something with PJ64? All I see are plugins for the n64 controller.

It seems to me others can use regular controllers, but I cant, no matter what no controller plugin detects me pushing anything, but windows can. What is up with this?

you have to go to devices or something in the plugin. for n-rage's, you go to Devices (a tab in the plugin). Look for the (none) in a drop down bix on the left side. For Jabo's, its right on the first screen. Again, look for (none) as text in a drop down box. Then select your controller.
