Refurbished Stuff

Have you guys brought refurbished stuff? how was it? what do you think about it? I just looked at this controller at eBay:

As you see is refurbished, however the guy has 42003 100% positive feedback and it is a powerseller. What do you guys think about it?

Refurbished equipment can be just as good as "new" in my experience. My first I-bought-it-myself PC was a refurbished one, and it ran for years with no problems.

was the refurbushed PC reformatted? because reformatting your computer can make it run like new. Well actually, defrag your hard drive, keep your registry clean, and keep your startup list as empty as possible, and it can run until some program has higher requirments

No, I was making a statment about refurbushed PCs, and if they are reformatted, they run like new, because on a software standpoint, they are new.

There is nothing wrong with buying refurbished stuff, they work just like new.

For that price and that many feedback at 100%, I'd say it would be pretty safe.

as long as it's not an hdd, refurb is good as new in general, just no warranty, or a 90 day one, but for future reference, refurb hdd's come in classes, from no bad sectors to a few, and on to a lot, they tend to die early as well

Refurbished stuff is excellent, just like buying a new one only the price is much better
