Recommended PC Controller

I really hate using the keyboard for any game and the controllers I have don't work very well with emulated games. The emulator can't recognize the buttons on my Saitek controller at all! Could anyone recommend a good controller for use with emulated N64 games. A link to a web site I could purchase one would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you have a real N64 controller, you can hook it up to your PC with an Adaptoid, then play games with it. I believe you can purchase an Adaptoid at www.nathell.com or www.adaptoid.com

I would definetly get an Adaptoid. I would also order it from www.nathell.com

That is where I got mine from. It got there pretty quickly. It works with most PC games also. It is just the bomb.

I use a ~7 years old Microsoft Sidewinder and i get along with it very well. For PSX games i use a Saitek Impact, because of the sticks.

I have the P2500 aswell. Great pad, great rumble and very ergonomic. Costed $30 but was very much worth it. Highly recommended.

I'm searching a long time for a controller with 6 normal buttons (for proper Saturn [A,B,C,X,Y,Z] & N64 emulation [A,B&4C-Buttons]), 4 trigger (PS1&2 and N64 needs 3 for the Z-Trigger) AND 2 analogsticks, a d-pad & wireless, only found one: Logitech cordless rumble pack (probably is the name a little bit different, didn't know it) but I always have probs with the buttons after some month... :(

I see that they sell the single port for the PC but is there a 4 plug in adapter? or do you hav to get more usb ports?

How can you enable the force feedback with out a rumble pack. I believe the radio shack USB to PS converter supports force feedback, but I can't seem to turn it on in the emulator.

I am using 1964 with the NRage Pluggin, however I could only select visual rumble.

Whatever you do, avoid the Logitech Dual Action controller. It has calibration issues with its left control stick.

I use an Xbox controller adapter, its pretty good. I might pick up a GC adapter and the adaptoid, but its sold out everywhere.

That's the controller I use for N64, and I have zero issues with it.
