Ready 2 Rumble 2 problem

I put my r2r2 disc in CDrom, init chankast and i have dreamcast logo then screen goes black and that's is, fps counter still works so emu doesn't crash, anyone has some ideas how run this game? Thx

check the multiple compatibility lists that are floating arround before asking.... Or even better wait untill 0.3 which should be out within a week I guess.....

its probably the echelon version. wont work.

Try to set the DC CPU to 120 or higher right after you press "init" (press "+" some times), it may fix the problem. If you are using an enchelon rip then probably the game will not work.

I guess You got the Echelon-Copy of the Game, which unfotunatly wont run in Chankast (at least until now Ver. 0.25). I tried a lot with rebuilding the CDI-Image to make it run, but there was no way to get it past the boot-screen "of Sega Katana". I also tried to hack the 1st_read.bin with no success until now. So, if someone has a better suggestion than saying "Echelon-Games wont run", it would be very nice (because, there are releases running in Chankast).

well, maybe if you bothered to read other threads you would have read something other than echelon games wont run. there is no quick fix for it. there are several different intros. some work some dont.

Sorry to bother again, but I am still some kind of newbee ;-)

I did read some threads before and most of the comments tend to put it that direction (or maybe i am not busy enough reading 24/7?).But in my version of R2R2 there is no intro from Echelon (at least until the crash?). All I can see is a the Dreamcast Logo and there after the "standard" Sega Katana screen. Then the sreen turns black and nothing follows.

I also do know, that there is no fixing tool or easy way around, to get it running. Maybe there has to be some work of a guy who really knows to hack bin files, to get it running (Like the Threads about DOA2LE).
