Questions about Project64...

I've been lurking around the forums for like 5 minutes, and just recently had downloaded project64. My question is, is it possible to use a ps2 controller to play the roms? I've read that someone tried it or something and had no idea what the people we're talking about in the thread.

Yes, but of course you need a PS2 --> USB adapter.

As for your second question, please read the board rules before you risk getting yourself banned.

Well, for the first question, I do infact have a USB adapter for ps2 , thats how I play online. At least, thats what I think it is. How do I get the ps2 controller to work with the pj64?

Play online? I think you're thinking of broadband adapter. Silly.

Well, I use a Logitech wireless rumble controller. It's much, much more comfortable than a PS2 one, and works just as well. The layout is exactly the same, only with the fact that instead of things like X L R Start Select etc., there are numbers like 1 2 3 4 etc.

Anyways, to get the PS2 controller to work with PJ64, Google around for a PlayStation 2 USB adapter that plugs the PS2 controller into the USB drive of a computer (example: http://www.hartsunlimited.com/supdualboxwi.html). Then, use a plugin like N-Rage's input plugin, and just configure it to the gamepad.

for future reference, a usb drive is a portable hdd that slots into a usb PORT

its not a portable hdd, for it has no disk, it is all flash memory, which is smaller but much more expensive

depends what you thought i meant by portable hdd

a flash drive is the one you are reffering

a usb drive is a fullsize hdd that plugs into a usb port.
