question about TWINE

hey, i am back after a year or so of other stuff, lol. ok i have been away from this for a while and i was just wondering if the voices problem in TWINE has been fixed yet, anyone know? the and the freezing on certain lvls (or rather errors, such as unable to detect microcode something or other with some numbers, lol dont remember it exactly) have either of these been fixed?

it's also a kind of string - good for holding bales of hay together.

the audio should be fixed in current beta, can someone confirm?
the video crashes i've never heard of, please provide more info.

lol... string... anyway, u mean version 1.7? if you do then that is unfortunate, because i am in college atm and have no money to spare for donations... also, about the errors, i posted a looong time about this but was unable to find help... i wonder if i could possible dredge up the old thread out of the depths known as highly numbered pages... unless it was deleted, lol.

edit: yup it was deleted... probably a long time ago from the looks of it. anyway i will play it quick and write down what it says, also, it is like a string of errors, the same thing, just the numbers change and there are like 1k of them or so, lol.

edit#2: ok, now i cant even get into those lvls... the only 2 lvls are the walkways part 1 and 2, those show the intro vid, then it just freezes, the fps sticks to between around 59.90-60.1... it does nothing but this, i have to either reload a save or reset it to get out of it (or close pj64 and reopen)

The audio works perfectly in 1.7. Worth 20 bucks.

The game has and still does seem perfectly stable. Played through it just fine. It is something on your end. Is it the same with Mupen and 1964? Post all the settings you can.

all defaults, and i dont have 20 bucks to spend if i want to get through college... and if you didnt read the first post, i havent played this for like 2 years...

its likely either the rom, or the computer your using then.

well it aint the computer, and i dont think its the rom, on the rom list it shows the speech thing as a known issue

edit: well, i will try getting a new one anyway...

the xpress 200 should be decent enough,.. i think its one of ATI's PS2 enabled OGPU's

...btw, PAE isn't a hardware device, its a hardware Tech which allows you to extend the amount of physical ram you have available to you when running 32bit OS's

whatever, i did get a new rom, its is exactly the same as the other one...

you are going to have to provide a save and instructions to recreate a hang, so we can help with that issue please.
