Hi, i just bought some Boom ps/ps2/n64 usb convertors and i have a problem with them, maybe someone could help me with. I bought 10 of them and only 3 of them work well on my computer so far.
I have windows XP, and when i plug it into my usb port it autoloads the drivers. But when i plug the n64 controller in(ps/ps2 controllers work fine), the buttons all seem to go crazy with fake input even though no input is being put into it. Calibrating wont work and i cant install the drivers that come with the converter because XP wont allow them to be installed. If anyone has had this problem or knows what might fix it, please help me.
Also, I have tried them on my friends computer and more of them work, not all of them though, which really perplexes me.

If I remember right, this particular USB converter is not compatible with all N64 controllers.

Have you tried any other N64 controllers? (different brands)

Ya, i tried it with two other controllers. Plus, the controller i am using is one that i bought with my nintendo 64 when it was released in 1996. so i doubt it is the controller that is causing the problem, the new controllers tend to cause compatibility problems i think.
