project64 quit with no warning?

I was playing Mario Party 64 on my comp today and project 64 just quit out of nowhere. No messages or dialouge boxes showed up. It just quit. Has any1 experienced this before? I don't think it quit remotely. I mean if it did then more would have happened to my comp then pj64 just quitting.

if by isloated incident you mean rare than yes. This is the first time this has happened. Well I just started using pj64. I had nothing else running. In the task manager application tab there was nothing else running which i checked after pj64 just quit.

this has happend to me to i think its just some thing to do with windows it self. if your on xp maybe you should get vista soon

You shouldn't recommend changing OSes when it's well known that Project64 works flawlessly on XP. If only the emulator shuts down rarely, that doesn't even warrant a format and reinstall.

Vista would just make things worse, if anything. Definitely not better, however.

I use vista and I think it would be a terrible idea to switch from an xp. I have so many problems with the vista I am going INSANE!!!
