We can't help at all, if you do not give your system specs out. If you are having difficulty finding them out, by all means ask for help.

For now you can gleam some info from:

Start>Run> and type Dxdiag
press enter
look for your computer speed on the first page
Then go to display tab, and look for your graphics card name

Stutters? Perhaps your system is simply too slow.

There should be a rule anyone asking for help who does not give his specs should be banned. :plain:

nephalim, most people don't know there system specs.
How would you feal if you got banned because you didn't know your system specs?

Umm, hasn't he already put his specs in the message? Anyway - yeah that system looks too old for PJ64 - try 1964 like the man said :-D

Yeah, I was being harsh. I find it hard to believe that "most" people don't know their specs, however. It should just be in the rules that you need to provide specs when asking for help and if you don't know them to state so. But that's just my opinion.

The specs were not there at the time of posting, they were added in later :)

IT would be a good thing to add a small tutorial on how to obtain your specs if you don't know how to do it or don't know what they are.

I'd volunteer to write such a thing if you'd like. That's easy enough. I wouldn't know how to do it (for dummies) with Win95/98 though, but I could find out easy enough.

Well, the device manager is on a tab right there in system instead of having to click a button in xp. Other from that, it's similar.

I am also getting stuttering every so often, but regularly in all games.

using PJ 1.5 and pc spec is as follows

Windows XP+SP1,Athlon xp 1700, 512MB ddr ram, hercules GTXP soundcard, MSI Geforce 4 MX460 graphics card, Asus A7v133 Motherboard.

Graphics drivers are version 44.03, and i have latest drivers for soundcard, and latest bios etc etc.

It doesnt seem to stutter for any other pc games or emulators so im pretty sure its just a PJ64 issue.

any ideas?

cheers

In some games like zelda, you will simply have to use sync game to sound to make it stop shuttering.
