I'm a little confused. So you're saying that for some reason, Project64 won't start after you've used it once, and you have to completely reinstall it to use it again?

Here's what you do:
  1. Click the desktop with your right mouse button.
  2. From under the New menu, click Shortcut.
  3. When it asks you for the location, type in the following: C:\PROGRA~1\PROJEC~1\PROJEC~1.EXE
  4. In the next step, just click Finish.
  5. Double-click the shortcut you just created to open it.

You can find it under Start Menu --> Programs, like most other software that needs to be installed on your computer to function.

it says " the file C:\PROGRA~1\PROJEC~1\PROJEC~1.EXE cannot be found "

idk now..;)
Liar. The wink smiley gave it away. Plus the "idk now." I mean, duh, like you did before? You blew it, man.

Look, either you're setting this whole thing up to frustrate everybody, or your hard disk letter is something other than C:, which is almost impossible.

Oh, so the wink and "Idk anymore" was just coincidental, right? An invalid sign of troll intentions? If the wink looked like a confused smiley to you, then you look like a troll to me.

If that shortcut method I gave you didn't work, then you never even installed it. You are lying. None of this is possible. If installing it makes it come up, then the Shortcut on the Start Menu is supposed to show up and you're supposed to be able to make a shortcut on the Desktop with the directory input I gave you. You are a freaking liar, and you really suck at being one.

Viruses are stereotyped. This whole thing is a setup, people. Just ignore him. And if he says nvm I solved my problem, that only shows it more.

He might have a second hard drive, therefore has a different letter. Search again in all files and folders. Just put in Project 64. It should come up snice it's in your computer.

Could be. I don't mind others showing patience for him, as long as I'm not asked to take any part into it. Just saying, I think he blew it way too much to be telling the truth. Come on! The wink smiley looking like a confused smiley? Please! One lie is enough to tell that this whole thing is a setup. I won't stop you from persisting, though. In fact, I wish I had your patience, to try and ask questions like that before throwing accusations, as accurate as they may be.

Search "PJ64". That might do it. You could also check you hard drive manually...

Or you could pay attention to where you're installing it to next time, man? The installer tells you that information.

His posts reflect that he has no idea how to work with files and directories nor how Windows Explorer works.

My thoughts exactly.

The "create shortcut" Thing mightn't work, as that might not be where you put the file.

If it isn't in the start menu, I would be a little confused. Try this:
My computer -> Local disk (probably C) -> Program files -> You should have "Project64 1.6" somewhere in that folder. In there will be "Project64.exe". Right-click it and select "create shortcut" and put it on your desktop.

That might work.
