problems with Gauntlet Legends

ive been getting this wierd problem with the game Gauntlet Legends like when i go onto the first beacon i get an error and then my comp freezes up and then i have to close everything down almost and i can run most of the other roms w/o any trouble and i also get static when playing that i dont in other games and the screen also flashs

Troublesome game, to say the least. Different plugins might help, but I've not tested.

I've tested (with almost every plugin in existance), and sadly, there is still no way to achieve a tolerable playable state. I just hope that someone will hopefully get this game emulated someday (come on Rice!), so that it can be enjoyed a little better. My list states what works the best, and it can actually be played, but its missing a lot of effects.
