Problems with Dolphin and Vista

Hi everybody =)
I have just installed dolphin on my com with Vista with super smash brothers melee however whenever I start the emulator it says: (I've translated it to english since Im danish)
"Gamecube emulator has stopped working
A problem caused that the program has stopped working correctly. Windows closes the program and lets you know if there is a solution"
And then theres a button that says "close program"
Thats all I really hope you guys can help me since Im kinda new at this and I would love to get it to work, on forehand thanks

Could be a number of problems, what are your computer specs?

Like it was already hinted, the error message is so generic that it doesn't offer anything to go with. The culprit might be driver conflicts, hardware setup, etc. etc. etc.

Try running it as an administrator. Right click dolphin and select 'Run as Administrator'. It worked for me!

Now if I could only figure out the controls ><

Great it works now =) I pressed run as administrator and that made it work.. Now I just need to know how to make it run faster. It runs unplayable slow (fps around 6 or 7)
