Problems with Dc games

Hi all,

I have 2 DC images games burned on cds, they are Selfboot, the first is
Dead of Alive 2 LE, but when i run it, i first see a sega logo, after the game
goes black and it stuck there.. i have to manually shut down the emulator.
the second one is Jet Grind Radio and when i run the game the screen goes black and it return to the dreamcast logo and menu. anyone can help?
i think these 2 games should work fine if i check the compatibility list.

I get the impression you are trying to run the games from cd. You probably won't get far if you are trying to do this. You need to use an image file and mount it in a virtual drive with Daemon Tools.

If you are already using an image file then a series of solutions and modifications have been found for Dead Or Alive 2 LE. Don't know if it will work for you or not, but it is worth looking at:

Note that this thread starts as Dead Or Alive, but the topic changes to Dead Or Alive 2 LE pretty quickly.

Hi,

Thats what i did, i burned my seftboot image into a cd with alcohol 120%.
and i was trying to start the game from the cd. i was sure it was possible.
my only problem is that im doing this on my job computer and i cant copy
any image on job hds. too bad, i just hope it will be possible to run game from cd in future release of chankast.

I have run games from CD on Chankast but I've found they run a little better when images are used and mounted with Daemon Tools.
