Okay, I got a old 8756C model of a Hewlett Packard. Whenever I run a game in PJ64 it runs perfectly and no problems. But whenever I close PJ64, my computer slows down for about the next 10 minutes.Like, when I close PJ64 and start my resident evil 2 game, it takes forever to load, but when I restart the computer and start Resident Evil, It loads in a matter of seconds.... Does this have to do with my GFX card or my CPU Processor?

GFX Card: Intel Graphics Controller 82810E Model

CPU: Intel P3 850 MHz ( Getting a huge upgrade soon!)

If after it takes forever to load it runs at full speed, then it's probably a memory problem. You don't have alot to start out with and if your memory usage settings aren't set right then things will take forever to load. So make sure your virtual memory settings are ok... have it set to automatic... that should work ok and don't run any background tasks while gaming. There's also a way to set conservative swap file usage, but I forget how... but that would be a last resort.

You don't have enough ram. 128mb ram won't run too great on pj64. That's the reason it takes so long to load.
