Problem with wipeout64

Hi i'm new here so correct me if i can't ask this.

Whipeot 64 doesn't work. It says can't find controller and shuts off. Does anyone have a solution?

The controller thing is solved but the game seems superaccelarater and ik can't use any of the controlls(menu ect) and then the emu shuts down
