Problem with Jedi Outcast: New to Dolphin - I've got it booting up two games but...

...when I run Pikmin it is quite slow. I have 2.4GHz Pentium 4 and 1 GB RAM with the ATI All-in-Wonder/Radeon X800 card... seems like I should be able to run games faster, my ps2 emu is the same way so maybe it's just too much for the CPU? Anyway, when I boot Star Wars Jedi Outcast it freezes at the title screen! I know this is on the compat. list, so what's up?? Any ideas?

GameCube emulation is slow, far slower than PS2 emulation. As to why the game freezes I have no clue.

Thanks. Is the Gamecube really that much faster than the PS2, or is it just the quality of the emus? Anyway, my PS2 is running too slow, too-any ideas there, given the above specs? And what are some of the games that do run well on Dolphin? Just BustAMove?

Bust-A-Move 3000 is the only game that runs full speed in Dolphin, AFAIK. For PCSX2, the faster the processor, the better. A Dual-core AMD Athlon 64 4000+ or above is recommended.

So I hear. I wish I could say I had one! Ah, well, I guess I'll be making do with Chankast and perhaps an occasional PS2 game until I can buy a next-gen system.
