Power Stone 2 not working. Anyone know a good reason?

Ok, well I have Power Stones 2, adn wanted to play it on Chankast (I have the recent .25a). well, it starts up just fine and all, but on a few select screens, black lines would start flickering over the areas pretty badly. Then at one of the boss fights, as SOON as the fight begins, it freezes, and I get that "microsoft send report" error that comes up, closing chankast. I'm getting a second Power Stone 2 copy to see if it's the image that is messy, but just in case it is alright, does anyone know if it's chankast itself, the bios, or am I missing some kind of update? My computer is near top of the line w/ a 7950GT, AMD4400+ x64, and 3 gbs of ram, so I doubt it's my computer being slow. However, on instances where there are 4 characters battling, it runs extremely slow, no matter if I type "+" or "-". Thanks everyone ^.^

Chankast leaves much to be desired in terms of emulation accuracy. Then again, you might have a corrupt CD image as well.

haha o ok, thanks for the speedy response. From what I've heard, it was always that chankast is as good as a dreamcast. I guess it couldn't possibly be hte isos could it? Oh, adn besides, Power Stone 2 was a cdi.. so I didn't know if that'd make a huge difference w/ it being iso or not. I'm just not used to cdis at all.

Chankast is far from being anywhere near as agood as a Dreamcast. However, as emulators go, it's pretty good, considering the amount of development time it's had. It could very easily be the emulator. It could also be your hardware. There are instances where a game will run on one person's computer, but will crash on someone elses. Or, it could be a bad CD image. Basically, keep trying different things to see if you can narrow down what the issue might be. Mouser X out.

just fixed my MvsC2 image by inserting a large dummy sector. While a 200mb image would crash a 600mb image with a rather large dummy bin runs stable. I've also corrected alot of graphix corruption simply by increasing the resolution but you've no doubt already tried that
