Possilbe Issue

Hello all, More problems to worry about with good old PJ64 :p. Hopefully you guys can help me with this. Now after listening to some of the helpful tips on getting the Jabo's Direct3D plugin that comes with PJ64 to work (I have a radeon and was having the 32-bit issue) i managed to get it working. Yet my happyness was shortly lived because once i the settings all set to how I wanted them. I went to do a spyware scan and the RSP plugin came up. The program I used should be accurate ( I payed for it to be >.<) and I'm wondering if anyone else knew about this. If you didnt know well now you know :p, but more importantly how can I fix this. Will i have to find another graphic plugin to use? Or can I still manage to use Jabo's plugin?

Please let me know your thoughts, and thanks for your attention.

The RSP isn't spyware. Perhaps telling us what POS spyware protection product came up with that notion would be of some help.

Oh, I apologize if this has been discussed before. The program is spykiller. I use to use spybot and use adaware still. I was having problems with spybot and it kept getting an error so I went to use a stronger program. I had to pay for spykiller so I am hoping its accurate. It does label the RSP plugin as "SEVERE" I dont know if adaware or spybot ever even picked it up though. I no longer use spybot do to an error I had with it and I payed for spykiller which hopefully means its better. I am just hoping my ,just about $40, program isnt being too anal.

Oh man.... Does this mean $40 down the drain? *sigh* Anyway, I guess it is too anal, however does this mean RSP isnt spyware? Does this assure that fact?

Just need some confirmation that it isnt. Then I'll be happy :p.

The RSP is not spyware.

I suggest you delete Spykiller and install a better, free spyware-remover that won't delete critical files on your system, and be much more vigilant when buying software.

No no, I believe you. You know it better than I do probably. Now I'm just upset I went and spent money to get a better spyware program and it turns out ,according to the information you posted, its worse :(.

Thank you for the feedback.

Well you can still use it :) Just then double check the results on the vendors website (if there is a forum use it). Then at least they may remove some of these false positives.

SpyKiller is a scam. I & a friend used this tool. Paid in full, never got customer service, even after 2 weeks! NO phone number listing for address. Bogus product that detects LEGIT system files as spyware  DO NOT USE THIS PROGRAM!!! I suggest Ad-aware SE Pro
