ok when i first tried pokemon stadium the control stick didnt work. i thought my emulator got messed up so to check i loaded super smash brothers and saw that the control stick didnt work on this game either. so i unzipped pj64 and and tried it again. pokemon stadium didnt work but super smash brothers did work... so is it a known issue that the control stick doesnt work for ps and the ssb thing was a coincidence? or is my emulator somehow not working only for ps?

Pokemon stadium uses the D-pad.

the parts where i use the d-pad work fine but when i need to use the control stick it doesnt work

Well configure your control stick to the digital pad, vice versa kinda deal, by going into the controller settings (I'm using N-rage's plugin with my Logitech Dual Action controller )...
