What's the error-message? What game are you playing? And what are your specs? And lastly, are you sure it's a good rom? If not, then look below and scan them with goodn64.

Ok, so check if this is a good rom. Use goodn64 which can be found below. You might also check out the other topic on how to get rid off the flickers for paper mario.
Also try "protect memory" if necessary in the settings (see the readme), it's a little slower but more compitable, dunno if it's releated to this, though.
