This emulator is awesome, first of all. However, playing DC games with the keyboard is KILLING me. Does anyone know of a way that I could set up my XBox controller for use with this thing? I have the XBox controller to USB cable and have used it for PC games, however Im not sure what I would do for this. Any help is much appreciated.

i found a adaptiod adapter to use with my Gamecube controller. adaptiod has a driver built in,no need for calibration, with graphic interface. works awesome, even rumbles. they are out there for the xbox too.

use XBCD..EXCELLENT xbox driver..fully customizable

-reassign any buttons
-change axes for analog sticks
-remap axes to dpad and vice-versa
-change threshold (sensitivity) for each analog button and triggers
-adjust actuator strength

oops..forgot this

uh oh

Steel Batalion on the comp, watch out!!!

An xbox to usb would be awsome. I'd buy an xbox and the Steel Batalion controler just for the controller!!!

I have a controller shaped like a PS1 pad. It has 8 buttons, but windows has the 4 shoulder buttons set up as an rudder/throttle axis and Chankast will not let me assign them to anything.

Any suggestions there?

yep, the redcl0ud driver's are what you're looking for with the xbox to usb cable(which you CAN make yourself with ease).

and sorry fina, no idea on your question

To Fina... maybe you should try to update the drivers for your controller, cause to my knowledge, i digital button cannot be mapped as "rudder/throttle axis", that 2 thing complete different, an axis and a button, and remember that in many controls the "rudder/throttle" are often analog axis, not digitals.. by the way which type of controller do you have.. which brand, which model?

Sorry for the double post up there.

The controller itself is about as 'generic brand' as you can get. I bought it at CompUSA for like 5 bucks a few years back. It has clear plastic so you can see everything inside. Only thing I can find on it is "Q.C. PASSED, FCC ID : NH31BM-103, MADE IN CHINA" And the only drivers it uses are when you 'create a joystick' with Windows' control panel.
