i don't even see where i can look for a server in project 64 i can't find anywhere to play online

newbie explanation pls

What you need is the emulator based on the PJ64 source called

Project 64k

http://www.emulation64.com/N64/Project64k/Project64k_0_12.zip

After installing Project 64k, run it and click:

File > Start Netplay
