PJ64 application icon

Hello. Hope this doesn't count as a "feature request" or such.

I love the emulator, and I know this is the least of anyone's concerns considering the amount of actual programming work required to achieve all the N64 hardware tricks in software, but every time I run it I sort of cringe at that icon (the red-and-cyan "PJ64" one in v1.6 for Win32). It's not the primitive look of it as much as the fact that it's not actually a useful icon: you can't expect anyone to look at it and identify what the program does.

If you folks'd be interested in something a little more relevant (that four-coloured N-cube logo, or a little picture of the console, or something?) then I could try to produce something at the standard set of sizes.

This has already been discussed at a great lenght. You'll see some improvements in this area when Project64 1.7 arrives. In the mean time, check the appropriate thread.

Hey, wait a minute!

You can edit the icons in programs, libraries, and other formats using ArtIcons Pro. You can get a trial version from http://www.aha-soft.com/articons. I made icon libraries of the masks in Majora's Mask, from the Postman's Hat to the Mask of Fierce Deity. It's REALLY fun. And you can edit Project64's icon as well, as long as you don't modify the structure (number of icons), just the icons.
