Ping? Keyframes?

Can anyone tell me what ping and keyframes are? Like on Kallira you set the keyframes and I dont know what my keyframes should be. And ping, the higher the ms the slower or faster? I have about 42ms, can someone tel me what I should make my keyframes and what they are?:blush: :ermm:

Ping is the time in milliseconds it takes for your data to reach the server. In general you want to keep this well below 100ms, but dialup connections won't be able to do that, so they'll have to live with sub 200/300 pings.

The keyframe value is how many packets per second you should send. Each packet contains your current movement etc. The default of good is 20 packets/second - you can do 20 moves per second. This basically means it reacts every 50ms - which is good for your connection. You'd only want to change that if you got much higher pings (drop it down to bad at 10 packets/second) or if you were going to play over your own network (plonk it up to LAN at 60 packets/second).
