Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney on IDEAS - problem in case 5

has anybody played through and completed Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney (US version) on the IDEAS emulator? i'm using 1.0.2.5 and everything has so far played fine (except for some bottom-screen Layer 0 issues) but i've hit a snag in Case 5.

During the trial of lunchlady Angel Starr you are asked to show a problem with the victim's shoe.



now, according to the FAQ, you click on the blood on the bottom of the shoe and press Present. however, when i do this in ideas, i get the response as if i clicked the wrong area.

is this a problem with IDEAS? has anybody else experienced this? doers this bit work ok in other emus?

You should give No$Gba a try and see if said part work in that emulator. Or then you are still doing something wrong.
Remember to set the savetype in No$Gba correctly before starting the game, or you'll risk losing your save (if you're not using the latest version, that is).
