Performance problems! Need help

I'm playing an N64 Rom and the performance is really bad. It just lags a lot, kind of goes, freezes, goes, freezes, it's happens very quickly, but it makes playing almost impossible.

You haven't provided anywhere near enough information. My guess is that you either have a slow CPU/GPU, low RAM or a CPU-intensive program in the background.
