perfect dark problems...

Hi, i.m from brazil, so sorry for my english...
before, thanks for a good emulator, 1964 is the best
but i,m having a problem with game perfect dark, its run too fast, the most of the games are working fine, and i,m having problems only in this game

Lower your CF=1 or CF=2

before u bother with playing with CFs, try switching on the speed limiter. its in the options, i think under game options, and u can choose etween ntsc 60vi/s limit or pal 50vi/s limit. that WILL play perfect dark at the correct speed, as long as ur pc really is playing the game too fast....i only wish that was the case for me.

I've tried all that myself. It's either too fast, or the speed is very unstable. I've given up on playing PD on 1964 for now. I'm using PJ64.

The audio plugin might stabilize it more if it's not a CPU Issue that causes it to slow down. Hrm... ignore that. This probably isn't the issue. I believe Perfect Dark does self-mod code to change a constant value in Perfect Dark on a SLTI opcode. I believe 1964 may be overoptimizing/overrecompiling this code segment/segments. The only thing you can do it wait for schibo to find a solution I suppose. I haven't played PD all the way through. Just enough to test MP3.
