Perfect Dark lockup

Anyone else experience problems with perfect dark upon completing a level? It stops emulation and it just gives me a black screen. Should I change plugins? I am using Jabos as it works best for some other games im running. And of course, Im using 1964 emulator.

It might be a bad rom, scan it with Good64.

You can get GoodN64 from the 'Misc' download section.

However, Perfect Dark does occasionally hang after completely a level, there is a core bug somewhere, but I though it was fixed with 0.9.9 (apparently not)

You can usually restart the emu and your progress is saved though.

I disagree. Sounds more like the issues I described in this thread. I believe 1964 0.9.9 has core issues regarding certain mobo/proc setups. I would advise you to try your game in 0.8.5 and in Project64 1.5 and see if it still does it.

i have the same problem. I'm running an athlon 2600 with a kt400.

oh... just checked my roms. Goodn64 says PD is okay. It's not a rom issue.
