Help I am on a really slow system and I need every speed boost I can get.

Your system is not that slow, but with the 1.0 ghz processor,
it is showing it's older age and of course with only a
GeForce 2 GTS video card, 3D Mark 2001 SE will be slow and with
3D Mark 2003, you will cry, but even with Project64,
the Zelda games and most Rare games will perform not
badly.

My system is a bit slower than yours (but 128Kb of cache and 100Mhz is not a big difference for N64 emus)

Use 1964 - i've got PD running at full speed while on PJ64 there can be some slowdowns.

How did you get it to run like that on 1964? It kept on stuttering to the point where the game just crashed. But my fps count was still at 60.

I have the exact same specs as u except i have 512 Ram and 800 Mhz, my perfect dark rom works just fine... i think it would run better on 1964, on nemu i get some gfx problems as well

Try to play around with the counter level setting, I have heard it's similar to Frame Skip, except it approaches the problem in a different way.

On to topic, use 1964 (Make sure you use the no sound plugin), its about 30% faster than PJ64 but you probably will still experience some slow downs. If you want full speed, use the no sound plugin - it increases the frame rate by a fair bit, the downside is obvious: you won't get any sound.
