if you look at the article you will see that it has been improved to be able to play US and Japan games as well as dvd's from regions 1-6 before it was crap but now it's a good deal

OK I guess it's real but, did panasonic discust this with nintendo? Cuz you could better buy this thing than nintendo's own console...

Yes, Panasonic have a licence with Nintendo to make these. Yes, they are better than a normal GC (although bigger and more expensive), but the main drawback is they are only available in Japan. So far there are no known plans to bring it anywhere else.

yeh they can be found quite easily on import. my local games shop had one, but like for £400 + . it looks like an alarm clock radia, but a big one. still, i owuld get it if i didnt already buy a ps2. go to www.lik-sang.com as they hav it quite cheap for £350 modded and £310 unmodded.

Did you read the article? You can get one in the US, but only by importing. Panasonic are not selling them in the US. It can play US and Jap games only when modified (just like a normal GC).
