overclocking??!

i have heard loads about overclocking and thought i understood what it was, for a while
i found out there are many things to do to OC, you can change multiplier, bus speed, voltage, bla bla and i read that it'll screw up yer AGP and PCI bus speeds among other things
i am getting this config soon, and if anyone knows what potential OC'ing options i have, plz inform

I'd advise getting someone experienced to do it for you, otherwise you will fry a £700 processor if you are serious about overclocking the fastest CPU available today.

There are many great O/C websites on the web, although I don't know any because I don't overclock since its a risk that usually offers comparatively little benefit most of the time in game performance.

oh, if it has no benefit in games, then i guess i'll ditch the idea, down at toms hardware they have an article on how someone OC'ed a P4 3.2 GhZ to 5.25 GhZ using liquid nitrogen to cool the p4 to -196 C and using a compressor to cool the mobo chipset
