Having trouble with this game and have tried every plugin, can there be another way to resolve this?

I don't think any current plugin supports Ogre Battle 64 properly.

OB64 emulation if far from perfect, and probably will remain so for some time. Great game, wish someone would get it to work properly.

Wait for next version of glide64 . You can check the official message board of glide64 for screenshots

Yes Glide64 is making some real progress (as always). I can't wait for the next release.

That does make the game work to a point where it is playable, but as Gonetz pointed out in his thread on it, not enjoyable. The backgrounds missing really take away from the game. Kinda like Dr. Mario right now for most (if not all) Radeon users, we can play it, but no backgrounds currently. Just takes away from the game a little.

No biggie though, someday alot of these games will look and work sweet. Of that I have no doubts.

I didn't say it wasn't playable, I said it's not much fun with backgrounds missing. Many have that same opinion. Yes you can play without backgrounds, but it really takes away from the game.
