Here it is! A sneak preview of Oblivion!
This video is ca 115 mb in size and is about 30 minutes long.
It starts when beginning the game, through the creation of a new game to the end of, so to speak, chapter 1.
The video is encoded with x264 and AAC in a matroska container. If that doesn't tell you anything, then you should download Haali's Media Splitter and ffdshow to be able to view the movie. Make sure to select AAC and H264 in the installation of ffdshow to enable playback of those files.
The movie could contain spoilers since it shows you the first part of the game. But that's up to you if you want to watch or not.
Pay attention to details! I've also done some things to show you about the game. For example in the beginning, looking up at the window, you can see light shining through. It's all part of the game engine. So, again, pay attention to details
I apologize for the medium quality, but I had to be concerned about the file size and computer graphics are hard to compress. I will post a low quality and a high quality version later.
The graphics is somewhat jagged, as you may see... unfortunaly, I can't do much about that. If I enable AA, I lose HDR. Though I can use Bloom, it isn't the same as HDR. For this movie, I chose to use HDR so you can see how it affects the game.
One last thing about the video: in some places, it lags. That's because the game lags, or is slow, not the video. As you can imagine, it is kindof hard to record a movie @ 30 fps when running such an intensive game.
