Noob in Distress...

i can honestly say i proudly own a n64 but sadly it no longer functions properly : :down: ...so i have found a solution,at the moment i am using pj64 w/ sp1 but i am having some issues :ranting: ,my fps are VERY low,games are super laggy,i am runnin xphome,p42.8ghz,g-forcemx420(64mb),378ram....i also close all unnecessary background stuff to play,all internet,firewall,virus and still not any better...plz help me someone...

1st: Which games are you trying to run?
(some games are known to be slow on all systems)
2nd: Which plugins are you using?
(certain plugins work faster in certain games)
3rd: What resolution are you playing in?
(GeForce4 MX 420 cannot handle high resolutions like 1280x1024, especially if any AA/AF filtering is used)

No,the problem is this: I´m sure,that,your GeForce is onboard,and your chipset is an NForce2,right?

Destruction Derby is a pretty slow game when emulated at the moment - at least it has been on all emulator/plugin combinations I've tried in the past.

the old guy
i just played it with rices 5.5.1 and 1964 and got a consistent speed of 55-60 fps. it was very smooth.it looks great too.
